we never plan to end things when they are just beginning, but it is wonderful to remain close to people who have influenced your life in such an integral way. I have always found that a past relationship has opened up a new world for me, whether it is through a profound love for the simpsons and movie trivia, or exploring eastern religions, or practicing yoga poses. Today is as much about honoring the departed loved ones, as it is the departed love of ones we held before. Maybe the anti-Valentine’s day.
