Portrait Week! – Florian Nicolle. | The Nonsense Society
Self portraits… so challenging. In my first Illustrator class, our final project was a self portrait, which I agonized over. It never seemed to match what I saw in the mirror. Luckily, my mom the talented artist stepped in with some words of wisdom to help me calm down and focus on just enjoying the process. Still, I felt it lacked any interesting quality, but to take something such as writing and integrate textures is an inspiring option!
Here is a glimpse of my first self portrait… the lines are a bit blurry, I don’t love how I rendered it digitally, but yea
