As my roommates commented before I ventured out last night for a haircut with a new stylist, “Ginger Suite… that sounds yummy!”
And yummy it was. Walking into the salon is a veritable goody shop for the well-heeled lady. After my coiffure was complete, Travis plopped in the the chair for a quick trim, and I filled the time trying on hand-dyed vintage slips, restored by Kassandra herself! Then I accessorized with a knit headband, replete with crochet flowers, fingerless gloves in the most delicate scallop pattern, and lovely hand made earrings with stunning combinations of sparkling stones.
Alas, when it was time to leave all I took with me was my freshly snipped and shiny hair, but I plan to return, and soon! The slip I fell in love with fit like a glove, I felt like Joan Holloway, torpedo boobs and all.
