The ever amazing James White uploaded these to his Flickr and says:
“Here are some character concepts I developed based on my favorite children’s book: Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. I love Sendak’s illustration and coloring work, so I had a blast working on these little guys in a different style.”
This is one of my favorite books ever, and makes me so happy to see these guys again!
